My journey into Feng Shui reflects the beauty of life’s unexpected turns and led me to discover my life's purpose.
After decades of long hours and extensive global travel, I experienced burnout and long-term post-COVID symptoms in early 2020. These challenges impacted my cognitive function and ultimately shifted the direction of my career. During this period of recovery and reflection, I realised I no longer felt aligned with the fast-paced, highly ‘yang’ environments I had worked within for many years and felt drawn towards a more balanced, meaningful and authentic way of living and working. Seeking greater harmony amid a personal awakening, I felt a strange and unexplainable heart calling to explore Feng Shui. What began as a personal interest evolved serendipitously into a professional path after enrolling in a Master’s-level certification and dedicating two years to full-time study, amassing hundreds of hours of research, practice and case studies to qualify as a certified Classical Feng Shui Consultant.
Following qualification, I completed the Feng Shui Society’s rigorous six-month assessment and accreditation process and was awarded the professional post-nominal letters FSSA.
Feng Shui has become so much more than I ever imagined: a beautiful, deep and transformative practice that has profoundly changed my life, and I hope, in some way, it may positively support yours too.
Life Before Feng Shui
Early Years
Growing up in Sussex, in a town known for its powerful ley lines intersecting with the Greenwich Meridian, I was always surrounded by alternative thinking. My mum introduced me to these practices at an early age, and I still remember a Geomancer visiting our home when I was ten years old to map out the energy lines. I followed him with fascination around the house, asking questions about his actions with child curiosity and a memory I kept.
Work Experience
My previous career of over 28+ years in brand education, sales, and marketing management saw me work with various indie brands. I honed my expertise in brand building, training and marketing with KIEHL'S (L'Oréal), BURBERRY (In-house), and LE LABO (Estée Lauder Companies). Working with these brands within larger corporations provided invaluable insights, which I now apply to help businesses through my Feng Shui work. This experience also sharpened my appreciation for aesthetics and creativity, enabling me to honour homes and businesses' unique styles whilst understanding the practicalities.
Passions
I am passionate about health, wellness, yoga, travel, and the natural world. I have had a profound spiritual practice and feel most at peace when in the solitude of nature. I’m also fascinated by ancient history, the esoteric, and the intersection of science and spirituality. I often explore what is not yet quantifiable in traditional science - the inspiration for the 'Curious Minds' pages.
My Approach
Brand Education Meets Feng Shui
What I offer lies in translating the intricacies of this ancient wisdom into a language that fits modern, design-led living. Drawing from my background in brand education, I bridge this profound and complex knowledge into something clear, grounded, and usable.
It’s about making Feng Shui accessible, focusing on thoughtful, beautiful solutions that sit naturally within contemporary spaces, and working collaboratively with clients to create meaningful, lasting change.
Traditional Wisdom and Modern Application
My Feng Shui practice is deeply rooted in Classical Feng Shui while embracing all schools of thought, including Form, Compass, Flying Stars, and Intuitive Feng Shui, alongside considering new schools of thought. This holistic approach allows me to tailor solutions that suit client's needs and goals.
Certification
Foundation and Master Professional certification through the International Feng Shui School.
Accreditation
International Feng Shui Society (Awarded with post-nominal letters IFSSA)
International Feng Shui Guild Member (IFSG)
